Microsoft’s Big Idea: Email needs more HTML timing and media synchronization. This begat HTML+TIME… yet another Microsoft embedded script.

A little poke by GreyMagic broke through Hotmail and Yahoo!’s webmail filters. Within two days, GreyMagic reports, Microsoft adjusted Hotmail. Yahoo! wouldn’t return calls.

This all begs the real question. The company builds great desktop software. But why oh why would anybody depend on Microsoft for security?

Just say, “No.”

(By the way… trimMail Inbox disabled it without even bothering to learn its name.)
