The email from PayPal, NatWest, Halifax, Barclays, Lloyds TSB or other processor says you need to verify your data for security purposes. You click the link. Fill in the forms. And transfer your assets to the unknown miscreant.

NatWest temporarily shut down. We’ve seen the PayPal scam. It’s good. Very good.

These scams are easy to avoid. Never click the link in a message. It can say one thing and send you somewhere else. Get to your vendor’s site on your own. Open your browser, type in the site’s url, then find the page you need on the site.
