Lotus does everything. Exchange does e-mail. Lotus is cheap to maintain. Exchange isn’t. So what did you expect from a study funded by IBMSunOracle? Yawn.

Take your pick. Just don’t buy into their spam control hype. Proper junk filtering takes a huge byte out of processors, memory and storage… while non-stop updates can play havoc with existing software.

Make sure your resource-heavy spam controller is isolated in a separate box, where it can do its job without tangling for horsepower and uptime with your LotusExchangeWhatever servers.
