Windows is slowly becoming the operating system to avoid. Hideous drm, exorbitant hardware requirements and "me-too" feature plagiarism, together with the inevitable slew of vulnerabilities with each new release augur well for the eventual offloading of Windows to the annals of computing history. Is is any wonder that Bill has already left the arena? Microsoft operating systems and their flawed development are not so much train wrecks as Hindenberg style tragedies..
