Robert Scoble says it all boils down to fonts. Windows has great fonts… Mac has blurry fonts… and Linux?

Fuhgetaboutit. Only geeks can stand it.

I dunno. I’m inclined to believe that Windows owes more credit for success to zillion dollar marketing campaigns.

But that’s just me. And I wouldn’t count out Linux on the desktop just yet.

From what I see, the new easier-to-manage Linux disties are picking up steam, not losing it.

Scoble also thinks people pick on Microsoft because it’s big. He’s right… to a point.

But while Scoble suggests that most MS attacks are due to tear-down-the-big-guy syndrome, it’s likely due to elephant-in-the-living-room syndrome.

It’s pretty hard to have a conversation without mentioning the elephant.
