ajg: The Chili Peppers are red hot since some jerk leaked their new record, Stadium Arcadium, to the internet.
The much-anticipated work, their first studio album in four long years, is due to be released May 9.
Bass player Michael Balzary, aka “Flea”, is begging everyone to pleeeeze not download the songs, but wait for the CD’s release, so music lovers can get the quality (and the Peppers the money) they feel they deserve.
Otherwise, aficionados may find themselves shirtless in front of the bathroom mirror, lip-syncing to Pepper golden oldies, and wondering whatever happened to Anthony Kiedis.

I can’t help but think this: You would only support an artist if you like what they produce. If you do not like an artist, then you do not support their products. This is how most people buy music. They hear a song on the radio, call the DJ and ask what the heck he just played because DJ’s no longer announce song title and name, then go look for the album the band has out.
Even those who digitally download music illegally pay to support the artists. This has been proven multiple times when the number one tracks traded over Kazaa and Naptser also happened to be the number one tracks selling in stores in albums and singles.
The result is that anybody who actually likes Red Hot Chili Peppers will buy the artists album and willingly support their music.
If that does not happen, the result is obvious. Nobody liked their music.
