To the the SPF record comments. I used to be an employee at AppRiver (in Support) and no one there seemed to have any idea whatsoever how SPF seemed to work. In fact the head of Technical Support said, "SPF! That's *soooo* 2004". If you had help with an SPF issue - it was probably me. After they got what they wanted, they laid off their entire afternoon/night support staff the weekend before x-mas with no explanation. AppRiver sucks.

GREAT in theory, bad in "real world" setting. Oh well, back to the old drawing board. Try this if your domain is just overloaded with spam.... http://www.appriver.com They are awsome. I think we need to turn spam filtering over to 3 parties. They adapt quickly to the "new technologies" that spammers come up with.

The world is full of good ideas.

If SPF isn't broadly adopted enough, it's not worth adopting.

Frankly, I don't see it going anywhere.

Keep your powder dry? Are you saying SPF is bad, or just not worth the time? Obviously your reader thought it was worth your time.
