Adobe Media Player plugin for IE: how could I be sooooo naive!:completely slowed my computer to an absolute crawl, even when I uninstalled all three components it insisted on installing. Couldn't see what was hogging the system in Task Manager Applications, nor when I turned off every inessential service it listed. Had to restore the operating system. Luckily I had a restore point to do it from. Works faster again now, but even now, after there should be NO TRACE of the evil rubbish left on my disk, it lingers without Kb count in Control Panel > Programs and Guff AND manages to come up with an error message: "Adobe AIR. This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance." Fat chance! Vista Ultimate: some of the very worst money I've ever spent. To think BG had the gall to come on TV and say it took them 5 years because "we listened to the customer and wanted to make sure we got things right [to give him maximum frustration and loss of money and time!] BG's small fry anyway, Rotschild is at least 1500x richer, so rich he's almost invisible! Microsoft has finally got a taste of its own medicine. Anyone remember the British Telecom patent for hyperlinks filed in the mid 70's... Specifically because of this, I am retiring from the web development business as of the end of the month and will be working full-time for a family business.

Good riddens to the web business.

So my question is, are you going to hand out all that money to the developers that now have to go in and spend hours changing all their code? Thanks a lot. These next couple weeks are gonna be great. <sarcasm off> I’m really glad someone got to take a bunch of money from M$.
