After tearing my hair out for the last few weeks, I was getting ready to re-format my hard drive. I was really dreading it. I'd been putting it off for fear of losing something important in the process. Thanks for the idea. I'm shopping for a new hard drive. Prices are so low anymore, the fix is gonna be a lot less painful than I thought. Just in the nick of time.
