Hello
I have unistalled OneCare using add/remove programs and the OneCare removal tool also the register was cleaned up. Then I tried to install Panda Antivirus, I keep getting a error message that states that I need to unistall Windows OneCare. OneCare support has been contacted (8 so called no support people), when I was put on hold for the 9th person I was disconnected. So far they have no one that knows there own program. It looks like I will have to use the Systen restore, hopefully to get rid of OneCare.

I've installed it and am trying it right now. I didn't have to uninstall my Symantec Corporate Antivirus client. I don't think this product is worth the subscription, though, since all it does it automate things that you could do yourself through scripts or batch files.

It's not my job to keep Symantec et al in business. I just want a machine that isn't virus-infested. I don't really care who makes the anti-virus software.

OneCare is not Microsoft trying to secure their OS, it is Microsoft profiting from weakness in their OS.

It's great that MS is finally trying to secure their OS, but I'll still feel more secure running third-party AV.

I don't like Microsoft, beta releases, or anti-virus software (from any manufacturer). I won't be installing this sucker any time soon.
