The Economist Intelligence Unit found execs count viruses and spam among their worst worries. Yet, in a classic case of “Do what I say, not what I do”, nearly 80% still blithely open attachments in email. That’s the absolute easiest way to get a virus.

Bet they click on links in HTML email, too. (In case you fall asleep watching the news, that’s how you instantiate a phishing attack… No, you don’t spell that with an “f”.)

Interestingly, while execs figure most security problems stem from insiders, they don’t seem to count themselves among the “insiders”.
