An active vendor asks why we never respond to her email ads. It’s simple. They’re unintelligible.
Ours is among the few who don’t realize that savvy admins… and endusers… disable HTML content in email messages. Why?
To read an HTML message, your email client calls your web browser. And once your web browser’s running, almost any exploit is possible. That’s why you should set your spam filtering appliance to disable HTML. And tell your endusers to do the same with their messaging clients.
And don’t send HTML messages. Sophisticated receivers don’t appreciate it.
